The Endless Mountains Heritage Region, Inc. is governed by a board of directors who have the full power and authority of EMHR affairs and funds and creates and approves policy. The board of directors consists of twenty-four members who represent each county of our region (Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna and Wyoming), plus three at-large members. The four members from each county represent diversified heritage interests within their county and are elected by the EMHR membership. The fifth member from each county represents county government and is appointed by the county board of commissioners.
Board members serve three-year terms and participate in bi-monthly meetings as well as committee activities on one or more of EMHR's standing committees. Membership on our committees is not limited to board members.
Residents of the Endless Mountains Region interested in serving on a committee or being considered for service on the board of directors is encouraged to contact the EMHR Executive Director by calling (570) 265-1528 or emailing emhr@epix,net.
